13 second left on the kill...

A Chris Brown song came on the radio on my way home from class. He is such an adorable artist, sucks that he beat the crap out of Rhianna so I can't listen to him anymore.

In fake catholic news, Lent starts tomorrow. I've been celebrating it for 5 years now, and it's always an enjoyable and miserable experience. I expect this year to be the same. I decided to give up one of my favorite things ever, bread. It''s going to be hard, especially since I just ate a bagel. Thank God that biblegateway.com has a "lent reading plan" to keep me on track this time.

I love how life (God, or the universe, or whatever i believe) gives you little nuggets of happiness. I had a personal vindication today. It was so unexpected and I didn't even think that I needed it. But I did, and it made my night. I don't know why, but it made me become totally positive about my life and how much I have grown for the better in the past year. I have an amazing life, I really do. I'm ridiculously happy and I'm so glad I'm me and not anyone else. It sounds weird written down, but it's true. Living positively and focusing on the good things that happen is really a good way to live.

Isaiah 63:7
I'll make a list of God's gracious dealings,
all the things God has done that need praising,
All the generous bounties of God,
his great goodness to the family of Israel—
Compassion lavished,
love extravagant.

  1. During Lent, they don't serve meat in the dining halls on Friday at all. Even the non-Catholics have to give it up. I think it includes chicken, but I'm not sure. I will be sad if it does.
